This Thanksgiving, let The Lifesaving Station set the table while you focus on what matters most: time together. Join us for an elegant four-course Thanksgiving dinner featuring seasonal flavors, classic holiday favorites, and thoughtful coastal touches.

Begin with roasted sweet potato and apple bisque before enjoying a beautiful roasted pear and chicory salad. For the main course, choose between sage cornbread stuffed turkey breast, slow-roasted prime rib of beef, or a wild mushroom and butternut squash Wellington. Finish with your choice of spiced apple cider cheesecake or cranberry-orange bread pudding for a sweet taste of the season.

Thanksgiving at The Lifesaving Station is an opportunity to slow down, linger a little longer, and celebrate together over a memorable meal by the sea.

Discover the vibrant character of Spanish winemaking through a curated selection showcasing the diversity of Spain’s celebrated wine regions. From lively Cava and expressive aromatic whites to distinctive Bobal and a rich Garnacha-based red, each wine is thoughtfully paired to complement the evening’s courses and celebrate the unique varietals, terroir, and winemaking traditions of Spain.

Duck Turkey Trot

Thursday, November 26 at 9AM

Start Thanksgiving morning with a little fresh air, good company, and a beloved Duck tradition. Open to runners and walkers of all abilities, the event carries on the tradition of the former Advice 5K Turkey Trot, a race fondly remembered by the Duck community before its retirement in 2021.

Supporting the Outer Banks Track Club, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting youth runners throughout Dare County, the race is a wonderful way to celebrate and give back to the local community.

Christmas in Corolla

Friday, November 27 from 11AM to 4PM

Start your holiday gift shopping on the grounds of the Whalehead Club in Historic Corolla Park for the 11th Annual Christmas Craft Village. Enjoy arts and crafts, fine arts, handmade cosmetics, baked goods and other unique treasures from local artists.

Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28 from 4PM to 8PM

Two magical nights of holiday fun beneath the twinkle lights of Historic Corolla Village. Stroll through festive light displays, shop handcrafted treasures from more than 30 local artists at Santa’s Workshop, and enjoy hot food by the fire. Kids can explore with an interactive map, write letters to the North Pole, meet Santa, enjoy live music, and make holiday memories around every corner.
